The people of Kumbo Diocese rejoice when on Tuesday, of the third week of Easter 2020, 28th April 2020, Mgr. George Nkuo, Bishop of Kumbo released a circular permitting the Celebration of Public Masses on Sundays only.

Since Easter Sunday, the Christians have not been able to attend physically the Celebration of Holy Mass. The new Communiqué from the Bishop comes to relieve the frustration that was already seen in the lives of bother priests and their Christians. The Bishop has also given the chance for such Sunday Masses to be multiplied and also to carefully respect he health directives given by the state and sanctioned by his authority, all in a bid to curb the spread the virus.

Christians, therefore, are warming up in preparation for Sunday 3rd May ceremonies.
